About Fishers of Men
The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail is designed to give you,
the competitive bass fisherman, an opportunity to compete for cash,
prizes and recognition in an environment unlike any other. With 55 Team
Series and 35 Legacy Series Divisions encompassing 27 states, The
Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail continues to expand at a rapid
pace. Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail Divisions feature a
2-person team competition. Each Team Series Division will host 4
Divisional Tournaments as well as a Regional Qualifying Tournament. The
Legacy Series Divisions will host a minimum of 2 tournaments. The Legacy
Series is also a 2 – person team however one participant must be a
junior member as outlined in the Legacy Rules. Teams will be competing
to qualify and represent their respective Divisions in one of our
Championship Events.
A major part of the attraction of Fishers of Men is the Friday night
Pre-Tournament meetings where contestants receive a free meal, lots of
door prizes, and hear an inspirational message. Combine that with
professionally run tournaments, designed to be affordable for the
weekend angler with a total pay-out exceeding 81% and it’s easy to see
why Fishers of Men events are experiencing tremendous growth. Important

To compete on the Trail, you must join the Fishers of Men National
Tournament Trail organization through one of our Membership options.
Membership fees are as follows:
Associate Membership: $20
Legacy Series Membership: $25
Team Series Membership: $35
Gold Membership: $50
Associate Membership Benefits: Membership packet (which includes
a license plate, a window decal, and a patch). An associate member may
upgrade to Team Series membership at any time by paying an additional
$15, to Legacy Membership by paying an additional $5, or to Gold
Membership by paying an additional $30.
Legacy Series Membership Benefits: Membership packet and
eligibility to compete in any Fishers of Men Legacy Series Tournament. A
Legacy Series member may upgrade to Gold Membership at any time by
paying an additional $25.
Team Series Membership Benefits: Membership packet and
eligibility to compete in any Fishers of Men Team Series Tournament. A
Team Series member may upgrade to Gold Membership at any time by paying
an additional $15.
Gold Membership Benefits: Membership packet and eligibility for
you and any immediate family member residing in that household to
compete in any Fishers of Men Team series or Legacy Series Tournament.
Remember that all Memberships are to be submitted to the Division
Director prior to fishing your first Tournament. Participation is
open to all individuals, male and female. Those under 18 years of age
may participate with written permission from a parent or guardian.
Fisher of Men continues with our program called “Bonus Bucks”. This
totally optional program allows anglers who would like to fish for
higher stakes to enter the “Bonus Bucks” program for an additional $25
entry. 100% of all funds collected through this program will be paid
back to the top 3 teams entered in the Bonus Bucks program on a
50/30/20% split, giving you the chance to earn even a bigger payday.
Championship Events & Prizes
Team Series
Teams will be competing to qualify and represent their respective
Divisions in one of the 5 Regional Championship Tournaments where over
$35,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded including a fully rigged New
Triton TR-186 bass boat with a 150 HP Mercury motor. The Regional
Championship Tournament will be a 2-day tournament. In addition to the 5
Regional Tournaments there is also a Wildcard Regional. Any team that
has paid an entry in at least 5 Fishers of Men tournaments in any
division or combination of divisions, and actually competed in at least
3 of them, and is not already qualified for the National Championship
Tournament is eligible to compete in the "Wildcard Regional''.
Teams qualifying for the National Tournament have the opportunity to
earn a share of the purse valued at over $50,000 in cash and prizes,
including a New Triton TR-20X Bass Boat powered by a 200 HP Mercury
Optimax Motor.
All Team Series Championship events can be entered by paying the regular
entry fee of $150 and meeting the qualifications as outlined in the Team
Series Rules.
Legacy Series
Teams will qualify and represent their respective Division in one of the
3 National Legacy Tournaments. The Legacy National Championship
Tournaments will be a 2-day tournament. All Legacy Series Championship
events can be entered by paying the regular entry fee of $75 and meeting
the qualifications as outlined in the Legacy rules.
